Slow day here at the cottage, it is raining and well I am procrastinating, I guess we all have days like that..so whilst procrastinating, I thought I would sit and type up my post ready for you all to read and hopefully be inspired by..
Today over at MFT we are sharing more inspiration using the August Release, today of course is Release Replay, the design team have whipped up even more creations to help you kick start using the August goodies that you purchased, for more viewing just head over HERE..
I chose to use that sweet little Birdie Brown set called Fab-BOO-lous Friends , just adorable, well let’s face it anything she designs is super fabulous..
I took a piece of white card stock that was slightly smaller then a card base and in one corner I applied Grape Jelly and Grapesicle ink, once I was happy with the colour tones together I flicked some water over the top to make it wick..
I then moved over to the die cutting machine and taking the Stitched Alphabet, I die cut the word BOO several times adhering each layer together, with the top layer I applied Steel Grey ink to the base of each letter, adhering the word to the card..
Next, was to take out the little images and colour in with Copics, die cutting and adding these around the word, along with stamped images of bats and a spider that I stamped onto scratch white card stock, die cutting this out..
It really needed more, so I took Orange Fizz card stock and stamped and embossed a greeting from the Fab-BOO-lous Friends stamp set and die cut it out using the Essential Speech Bubbles, adding this under the word Boo..
Completing my card by adding the spider off to one side of the greeting and a scattering of Clear Sequins..
