Today marks the September Release for Lil’Inker Designs and what a fabulous release that you are going to love, so much product to choose from this month..
We start day one of our release and you should have arrived from Jennifer’s Blog, if you have lost your way, just see the list at the bottom of this post..
I have two cards for you today, this first one, is a spooky scene 🙂
I created this card, by masking out a circle on water colour paper, then taking out distress inks Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans, applied the ink until I has happy with the background, splattered water and allowed the ink to wick, I then die cut the Batty Hugger out of black card stock, adding a sentiment to the centre of his tummy, adhered him to the background panel, then went about using the die cutting machine again, die cutting some stars out of white card stock, using the Starry Sky and also die cutting one of the Halloween Word Tags out of purple card stock, adding a little Wilted Violet to the base of this, adhering this all to the background panel and finished off with some gold enamel dots..
Next card, was another spooky themed card, colouring in the Zombie Kid, deciding to use the little girl, die cutting her out and whilst still at the die cutting machine, I die cut a Wonky Rectangle that I had previously embossed a sentiment onto, also die cutting a Spiderweb Greeting..setting aside, I worked on the background, which I might add, wasn’t terribly happy with how this card turned out, but went with it anyway, so adding Mustard Seed distress ink and Black Soot, I splattered water to make the ink wick, then adhered all my pieces to the panel and the card was complete..
