Lil’Inker Designs June Release Day 2! » Simple By Design

WOW! thank you so much for all the lovely comments I have been receiving with this new release for Lil’Inker Designs, it is always a pleasure reading the comments and finding that what I create inspires you all…

Today reaches day 2 of the new release and today of course, I have another 2 cards to share with you all..

First up though on the hop you should have arrived from Chrissy’s blog today, if you have lost your way of course I will have a a list at the bottom of this post for you to follow..

The first card today that I am sharing is from a stamp set called Mirror Mirror, I wanted this card to be a real girly girly card, so I took some white card stock and embossed a sentiment from that stamp set with silver embossing powder and then decided to ink blend Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry together onto one side of the card, once I was happy with the blended result I splashed some water droplets over the top to make the ink wick..

I then die cut through the whole piece of card stock using the Fringe Scalloped Border Builder die, and attached each of these pieces to the card base, I then die cut several layers of card stock using the Mirror Mirror die set, the final die cut on top was out of some grey glitter paper, adding a bow to the mirror for the final look, I attached this then to the card front along with some sequins to complete the girly girly card..

So my next card, featured Perfect Pair stamp and die set, these of course have already been in the store for purchase, but we are sharing these with the June release..

I kept mine pretty simple, adding a circle feature at the back of the main image, using the Dual Dotted Circles and blending Scattered Straw over the top, to give a soft look to the card, I then stamped out a pair of peas and carrot, coloured in with my copics and added these to the circle feature, finishing off by stamping out a sentiment onto black card stock and embossing with white embossing powder…
