Are you all busy crafting or just enjoying a relaxing weekend? Sadly I am working, but have a little time today to have some down time..
The other day, I was trying to make a card and well it was just all going blergh!
So I left the room and returned a little later, I decided to do some organising instead, and label my newest dies and stamp sets that had been sitting on my table for awhile, whilst in the process, I came across the Lawn Fawn, Year Four, stamp and die set and set myself a challenge to create with what was on my desk, as I adore hippos, this is what I chose to create with..
I kept the card fairly simple, but colouring each of the stamped images I wished to use and die cutting them out, adding them to a die cut stitched rectangle also from Lawn Fawn, stamping the sentiment that was in the set and once they were all on the card, I felt it really needed something else, so pulled out the clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, adding a scattering of these around the images…
Simple yet a sweet little birthday card for someone special..
Well, time to go hang out the washing and maybe think about some lunch..
