Almost the end of the week, for which I am grateful LOL, this has been my first week back at work since 9 weeks, looking after Mum who I might add has come a long way and still a little bit to go, but is doing so so so much better on all counts, we are all so very happy and she is also..
I wanted to pop in here today and share a really quick card I created a couple of weeks ago, sorry about the photography, I took this really quick so I could get this in the mail and send out to a friend..
I wanted for so long to use the MFT pandas, on a card and sort of knew what layout I wanted to create and at present I am loving the look of the soft blending that Laura Bassen has shared with us many times..
So I went about creating a circle mask, just trimming down a piece of masking paper to the same size as the white card stock, die cutting a circle where I wanted it positioned and then blending with 2 green inks from Simon Says Stamp, I am not one to use a lot of green on my card, but I was truly happy with the results..
I stamped out the panda and added some shading with copics to give the panda a little more depth, added some extra stamping with the bamboo stamp in the same inks and then went about adding the panda off to the side of the circle feature, a sentiment at the bottom and a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins..
I am now off to hop in the craft room and tackle more up coming deadlines..
