Happy Weekend!
What are you all up to today? For us it has been quite a big week, so we are having some much needed down time, maybe even catch up for a little nap later on..
So if you have been reading my posts of late you will of course notice I have been creating and very slowly, even though I have been creating my mojo has been hugely lacking and super frustrating as I am normally a quick card maker..
When new Lawn Fawn goodies arrived over a week ago I thought why not just create and see if my mojo will return, instead of putting the pressure on one self knowing deadlines have been looming, I am hoping it has helped as I really do have a lot to do this weekend, I am also thankful for peeps being extremely patient with me also..
So today’s card was inspired by Nichol Magouirk, I just adore the scenes she creates on her cards and I just had to give this a go using the new to me Joy to the Woods stamps and dies. I stamped out all the little critters and the birch trees, coloured in with my copics and die cut them all out, adding them to some pattern paper from BasicGrey, Evergreen, along with the Stitched Hillside Borders. Before adding the images to the pattern paper, I did stamp out a sentiment and some snowflake images so that the pattern paper wasn’t so plain. Sadly in the photo you cannot see that I also added some wink of stella for some glittery goodness..
I do love how companies are creating matching dies for the stamped images, saves on a huge amount of fussy cutting, I am sure I will be back to making more of these types of cards, super fun!
Well, I am going to love and leave you now and maybe sneak in the craft room and see if I can get this mojo to start to work..wish me luck 🙂
