Sitting here procrastinating, I should be doing a lot more, but after yesterday’s 45 degree scorcher (113 for people in the US) I just did not feel like doing much, so why not sit here and wait for the cool change to arrive and write up a post..
I had some playtime with yet another stamp set that has sat for awhile in my craft room, that being Ellie, from Avery Elle…so so adorable..
I wanted Ellie to be front and centre, so stamped out the images that I wanted to use and coloured in with copics, die cut them out and set aside, I then took some scratch card stock and added some Simon Says Stamp, Duckling and Lake Shores ink, blending together to form a nice background. I die cut another piece of white card stock using the Inside and Out Diagonal Stitched dies from MFT, I cut a window into this card stock, adding some foam tape to the back and placing over the blended card stock. I then went about adding Ellie and the Balloon, finished off the card by stamping a sentiment and scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins, yes I am certainly addicted to those clear sequins 🙂
I guess I cannot procrastinate any longer, I may go clean up the craft room and then see if I am still motivated to do anything else..
