Hope you all had a wonderful weekend..for me it was work and still recovering from this rotten cold/flu thing that I seem to have and cannot shake..
Today, I wanted to pop in really quickly and share a card that I created whilst away at a craft retreat a couple of weeks ago..
I have had this Dahlia stamp set from Wplus9 sitting in my stash for what seems like forever and have not had a chance to create with it, so of course whilst away I was determined to use it..
I decided to go with pretty much a one layered card and as we know the feature is definitely the dahlia itself..
I stamped out onto white card stock, then went about playing with my Prismacolor pencils and coloured in the image, of course I really need a huge amount of practice using my pencils but I have to say that I loved it and loved the depth that these pencils were able to bring to the image…
I stamped the sentiment that was in the stamp set and then to give the card a little more something I went and die cut the edge using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle and added a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins..
