Hi Everyone! So yes I have been neglecting the old blog lately, getting back on track is proving to be quite a challenge, but I do hope that it will return to normal soon. In the meantime I found this photo on my computer and thought that I would share it with you.
I designed this card set for Scrapbook Boutique using the beautiful Petaloo Velvet Butterflies.
To create the set, I cut 3 cards the same size using white card stock, next using 3 different colours of card stock to match the butterflies I cut smaller then the fronts of the cards and ran each of them through the Cuttlebug, embossing each one with a different folder. I punched a circle out of each of the colour card stocks so that it would become a spotlight feature of each card. I adhered each of the colour card stocks to the front of each individual cards using foam dimensionals and then glued each of the corresponding butterflies inside the circle, adhering each with some Glossy Accents. Lastly, I cut tags for each of the cards, stamped sentiments on each, attached to the cards and added some matching rhinestones.
