Happy Sunday

Very quiet day here at the cottage, still really hot and I am wondering if we will ever have an Autumn…so hunkered down under the A/C again and before I head to work, I wanted to pop in really quickly with a card..

I coloured up the sweet little bird and flowers from the MFT, Polynesian Parade stamp set, another stamp set that is on my wish list and was super lucky whilst away at my craft retreat I was able to play with..I chose to have the bird sit amongst the flowers, cutting off one edge of the card stock so that the flowers would slightly over hang, I added a sentiment also from the same stamp set and a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh sequins, I then added this to a standard size card that had a piece of pattern paper to one side so that the piece that was trimmed would show this underneath..

Super simple card and yet bright and cheery..
