Happy Sunday Evening!
So it is raining again here and well I should really be in bed, but of course I am watching TV and decided I couldn’t wait to share the card with you all that I created today..
I have had the Lawn Fawn, Mermaid for You stamp and die set sitting in my craft space for several weeks now and have been itching to use and today was one of those days that I allowed myself to do so..
I created a sweet little scene and I cannot wait to play with this set again..
Stamping out the images I wanted to use, colouring in those that needed to be coloured in and die cutting them out, I set about creating a background water feature, die cutting a panel of white card stock, using the Lawn Fawn, Small Stitched Rectangles, masking off to where the stitching started and applying distress inks, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch until I was happy with the blending, I spritzed water over the top so that the ink would wick and then went about adding my images to where I wanted them on the background, completing the card with sequins and a stamped sentiment..
So stinkin cute and if anyone has not got this set yet and have been sitting on the fence, then don’t, rush out and get now, because it is a lot of fun and so whimsical..
Well had better go iron some clothes and head for bed..
