Hi Everyone! WOW! What a busy week, just looked at the old blog and realised that it was Thursday since my last posting. I have spent the weekend catching up on house work, which was in much need and trying to craft for the Operation Write Home Bash, happening over at the Hero Arts Flickr Group. Dissapointed that I have not been able to participate like I wanted too, not being able to craft as much and not been able to comment as much as I would like to also, feel like I am being a bad Hostess! I am trying though! LOL.
So tonight I wanted to share another card that I designed for Purple Onion Designs. I love the feel of the post card look at present so I decided why not create a post card that could go on the front of a card.
I took some pink card stock and formed a card, set aside and took some white card stock and stamped the Antique Ledger Background that was inked with Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen over the white card stock. Next, taking the Bare Tree, I stamped it to one side of the post card stamping it with some Colorbox Ink, Antique Pewter, adding stamped blossoms to the tree and under the tree from the Hang in There stamp set that was inked with some pink ink. To make it look more like a post card I added the stamp from the Vintage Postcard Stamp set, stamping the words Post Card in Colorbox Ink, Antique Pewter. Lastly, blending more Antique Linen distress ink over the top to make it more of an aged effect and adhering to the card using foam dimensionals.
