Today on the blog and over at MFT we have a new challenge for the Design Team called Stitched with Love..
We are showcasing projects based around the Cross Stitch Tag and of course we are headed into the month of love so why not showcase some projects focused around that theme..
I took the Cross Stitch Tag and ran it through the die cutting machine, die cutting into some white card stock, I used just the part where you stitch onto as opposed to the whole tag, this enabled me to add this panel to a card front..
I used one of the patterns, that just showcased 1 heart, I used some embroidery floss in 3 different shades of pink and went about stitching my heart in place, once that was completed I took white embroidery floss and added white all the way around the heart to fill in the rest of the panel…
To the front of the card, I took more white card stock and my Score-Buddy, adding score lines to the top and bottom of the panel, adding my stitched heart panel to the centre of this card..
I then took Pink Lemonade and Ripe Raspberry card stock and stamped out some sentiments from the From the Heart stamp set, embossing with white embossing powder..
I added the sentiments to the card front and the card was complete..
