Happy Hump Day!
A very very quiet day at the cottage here today, a little catch up on some sleep and some reflecting, a little cleaning and crafting..
I thought I would pop in tonight with a quick share for you, I have had this card in a folder on my computer to share with you all..
Funny thing was I shared a sneak peek on Instagram and thinking it actually was my first shaker card, well I do tell a fib, I do remember creating one a couple of Christmas’s ago, but I think I can safely say that this really is my first proper one 🙂
I took out an older Lawn Fawn set called Admit One, with just recently ordering the dies to match this stamp set, I knew I wanted to water colour the Ferris Wheel (don’t look too close, I am sure I coloured it in wrong, but went with it anyways) I also added a water coloured sky background to the inner part of the shaker card, just giving it a soft touch…punched out some clouds from white card stock, then added the sequins, sealing with some acetate. I then stamped a matching sentiment and my Ferris Wheel and added lots of white, my favourite 🙂
Now if you can ignore the double sided tape, this gives you a closer look at the beautiful sequins I added to the inside..
I had fun creating this card and I just know I will be creating more shakers in the future..
Well after rather a long long day I am headed for bed to watch some You Tube..
Have a great rest of the day and thank you as always for stopping by, I so appreciate it..
Hugs
