Hello there
WOW!! first off I have to say thank you for all the congratulations about my joining Lil’Inker Designs Team, it has been super lovely reading all your comments..
So today we have reached day 2 of the new April release and today I am sharing 2 projects again with you, with loads of new product on them..
First things first you should have arrived from Chrissy’s blog if not see at the bottom of this post for a list of the blog hop..and remember to comment along with way to be able to win a prize..
Okay so today’s cards were featured mainly around the Vintage Flowers..
I am loving the look of gold and figured that stamping and embossing some of the flowers onto a piece of white card stock panel would look classy, I added this panel to a piece of white card stock that I die cut from Tribal Chic Cover Up die, then adding this to a white card.. the central piece to this card I created a sentiment feature out of vellum, stamping with Vintage Label Sentiment and die cutting out with Vintage Label Die, this I embossed with white embossing powder so it would stand out and not blend into the background, the last thing to do was to add some pearls…
Here is a close up of the card, I don’t know about you, but I find gold very hard to photograph and get that beautiful shine, so I had to angle it to get a good shot for you to see how pretty it was…
So this next card, I wasn’t overly happy with, but I am sharing with you anyways, I mean we all have moments and days when we make what I call the ugly bin card, this of course didn’t make it to the bin, but it was pretty close..I think for me the design concept was fine, but the colours I chose for the flowers were a tad bright..
I chose to create a feature background piece using the Dual Dotted Circles and really that was all the card needed, I then went about stamping and embossing the Vintage Flowers onto some water colour paper and then coloured them in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, die cutting them out with Vintage Flowers Dies and layering them to one side of the circle feature…to finish this card I added a sentiment from the Vintage Label Sentiment stamp set and some enamel dots, pretty simple design, but effective..
Here is a close up of the card..
Now before you leave me and head to the next blog, I wanted to add the reminder of, the $15 gift certificate up for grabs for one lucky person who comments along the way! One winner is chosen for each day!!
